A Free Study of Psalm 23

The world is being really weird right now. When things are weird, there are two things I’ve noticed God uses to keep me Caroline-ing (listed in no particular order):

  1. Laughing and enjoying what he’s given me to enjoy (see #hoardlaughter on my blog and Instagram for some of that)

  2. The Bible

Truly, God uses the Bible to give me sure footing during wobbly times, and I noticed it’s usually served in two ways (yay for lists!):

  1. Studying a passage with a slow and savoring pace

  2. Feasting on passages I’ve already memorized

Knowing this, I created a 7-session study on Psalm 23 for anyone craving sure footing. It’s my hope that you’ll enjoy the slow, savory pace, that you’ll come away from the study feeling better equipped to study your Bible on your own, that you’ll discover that you’ve memorized this passage and can therefore feast on its goodness whenever your spiritual blood sugar is low, and finally, that you’ll experience delight and comfort from following The Good Shepherd more closely.

If you enjoy this study, I offer three other things that may strike your fancy (LISTS!):

  1. Another free study called Laughing Faith

  2. A hand-lettered digital download print of Psalm 23 (I have it framed above our couch, and the ever-present reminder of this text has blessed my family tremendously)

  3. A Bible study tool called The Simple Study Binder that can come alongside you as you attempt to study the Bible on your own
